Lord of Lords
Prince of Peace
Son of the Living God
born in a manger

LOVE HER- love the verb
Look at my marriage. I'm really worried. My wife and I don't have the same feelings for each other we used to have. I guess I just don't love her anymore and she doesn't love me. What can I do?This is true. Many people are only concerned about the feeling of love that they forgot about the person and also what it means to love. This is not only true for husband and wives, this is true for all relationships, with friends and family.
"The feeling isn' t there anymore?" I asked.
"That's right," he affirmed. "And we have three children we're really concerned about. What do you suggest?"
"LOVE HER," I replied.
"I told you, the feeling just isn't there anymore."
"LOVE HER."
"You don't understand. The feeling isn't there."
"Then love her. If the feeling isn't there, that's a good reason to love her."
"But how do you love when you don't love?"
"My friend, love is a verb. Love- the feeling- is a fruit of love, the verb. So love her. Serve her. Sacrifice. Listen to her. Empathize. Appreciate. Affirm her. Are you willing to do that?"
I would like to dedicate this post to my god-sibling, and friends ;p and my future wife ...lolx

michael jackson & yoga issue
If it is true, and that he has found peace within his heart that he can better serve God in Islam, then good for him. However, he should beware that at the end of time, Our Lord Jesus Christ might renounce him because he has first renounced Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
However we should continue to pray for this APOSTATE of Christianity that he will someday repent and once again bear witness to our Lord's ultimate sacrifice for all men.
Secondly, Muslims are not allowed to practise yoga because it can erode ones' faith ?? OMG!!! How shallow can one be?? Faith in God comes from within...God grants us help to have faith in Him... and what counts is our bearing witness to divine truth. By reading something or doing something does not at all erodes ones faith in the One True God. It is sooooo shallow minded of the Islamic authorities to ban Muslims from reading the bible because reading it would erode ones faith. If thats the case, the Muslims do not at all have faith and what they are trying to imply is that Christianity is better. I do not say one religion is better than the other because every religion has its own tenets and principals that has GOODNESS as its foundation. And in this case, how does practising yoga, an exercise, erode ones faith???
What anyone could and should do is just not chant the mantra, or replace the mantra with religious pharases from our own religion!!! No Abrahamic religion (Judaism, Christianity, Islam)
can chant out religious praises to other gods... that is a fact; because all bear witness that there is only ONE TRUE GOD. So replace those 'mantras'. I don't see the harm of yoga if it helps keep my body strong and healthy.

gospel_luke 20:27-40
Jesus replied, "The children of this world take wives and husbands, but those who are judged worthy of a place in the other world and in the resurrection from the dead do not marry because they can no longer die, for they are the same as the angles, and being the children of the resurrection they are sons of God. And Moses himself implies the dead rise again, in the passage about the bush where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. Now he is God, not of the dead, but of the living; for to him all men are in fact alive"
Some scribes the spoke up. "Well put, Master" they said -because they would not dare to ask him any more questions.
This is the Gospel of the Lord.
Now here, the gospel speaks about the resurrection. The Sadducees, one of the 'elite' group of the Jewish people did not believe in the resurrection of the body. But here, Jesus, the Son of the living God confirms and testifies that there is life after death, and the reality of Judgement Day when he boldly says "those who are judged worthy of a place in the other world". Christ Jesus also talks about eternal life when he said "they can no longer die".
What is it in for us? What is the passage telling us?
Apart from the above, this passage also reminds us that life after death is nothing like life here on earth, where people marry and try to reproduce. It also tells us that in Heaven, the flawed human laws that govern this earth do not apply. Saints, like you and me, do not get married back in our TRUE HOME. By nature, we will be spirit like the angles and we are all children of the resurrection, sons of the LIVING God.
Remember, all of us are called to be Saints. And Saints aren't perfect human beings too... they are just like you and me :)

"datuk" for shah rukh khan ???&^^%$#$
Malacca once again faces shame as "Datuk" Shah Rukh Khan can't come
booooooohhoooohhooooo !!!!MALACCA: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will not be able to receive his Datukship on Nov 29 due to his busy schedule.
It is learnt that state officials here are now trying to arrange for an alternative date.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said he had got wind of it but refused to comment further on the matter.
“I understand it has been postponed. For any details, you will have to ask the State Secretary,” he told reporters after chairing the state executive council meeting yesterday.
Shah Rukh Khan was among 77 people conferred the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) which carries the title Datuk in conjunction with the 70th birthday of Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob last month.
The award drew mixed reaction from the public, including several NGOs.
The idea to confer the award on the actor was mooted by former Finance Minister Tun Daim Zainuddin with the Chief Minister defending the move.
State Secretary Datuk Wira Omar Kaseh, who was appointed to make arrangements for the actor’s visit here, could not be reached for comment.
this is very rude of him...
this international star has turned down coming for this award only shows that this award is not important to him...
despite many criticism by the people of malacca, the state insists on confering the
"Datukship"
this is an except of what Lim Kit Siang, an opposition politicians has said to the press“The postponement of the award shows just how ridiculous it is to give such an award to Shah Rukh as Malaysia and the award most probably does not even picture on his radar,” opposition politician Lim Kit Siang told AFP.

OBAMA new "pressy" of USA ~news
BREAKING NEWS
By Alex Johnson
Reporter
msnbc.com
updated 11:14 p.m. ET Nov. 4, 2008
Barack Obama, a 47-year-old first-term senator from Illinois, shattered more than 200 years of history Tuesday night by winning election as the first African-American president in the history of the United States, according to projections by NBC News.
Obama reached the 270 electoral votes he needed for election at 11 p.m. ET, when NBC News projected that he would win California, Washington and Oregon. The Associated Press reported shortly after 11 p.m. that Obama’s opponent, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona, had called Obama to offer his congratulations.
Campaigning as a technocratic agent of change in Washington pathbreaking civil rights figure, Obama swept to victory over McCain , whose running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was seeking to become the nation’s first female vice president.
Surveys of voters as they left polling places nationwide indicated the breadth of the victory by Obama, the son of a Kenyan father and a white American mother. As expected, he won overwhelmingly among African-American voters, but he also won a slim majority of white voters. He won among women and Latino voters, reversing a longstanding Republican trend. And he won by more than 2-to-1 among voters of all races 30 years old and younger.
That dynamic was telling in Ohio, which President Bush won in 2004, and in Pennsylvania, where McCain poured in millions of dollars of scarce resources. Obama won both.
Obama also took Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey and New York, all states with hefty electoral vote hauls, NBC News projected. He also won Virginia, reversing 40 years of Republican victories there.
McCain countered with Texas and numerous smaller states, primarily in the South and the Great Plains.
In interviews with NBC News, aides to McCain said they were proud that they had put up a good fight in “historically difficult times.”
A senior adviser said McCain himself was “fine” but that he felt “he let his staff and supporters down.”
Obama will have a strongly Democratic Congress on the other end of Capitol Hill. The Democrats won strong majorities in both the House and the Senate. NBC News projected that the party would fall just short of a procedurally important 60 percent “supermajority” in the Senate, however.
Record turnout delays key resultsIn the end, Florida, the scene of electoral chaos in recent elections, had little impact. Florida had been closely watched, but results there and in other closely contested states were delayed after record numbers of voters flocked to polling stations, energized by an election in which they would select either the nation’s first black president or its first female vice president.
Americans voted in numbers unprecedented since women were given the franchise in 1920. Secretaries of state predicted turnouts approaching 90 percent in Virginia and Colorado and 80 percent or more in big states like Ohio, California, Texas, Virginia, Missouri and Maryland.
At New Shiloh Church Ministries on Mastin Lake in Huntsville, Ala., Stephanie Lacy-Conerly brought along a chair, expecting to stay for hours.
“It’s exciting,” she said. “It’s an historical moment.”

1-10
Not only did he do it 1 to 10, hedid it again from 10 back to 1.
This is what he cameup with.....
1 day I go 2 climb a 3 outside a house to peep.
Butthe couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down.
The manrushed out and wanted to 5 with me.
I ran until I fell6 and threw up.
So I go into 7-eleven and grabbed some8 to throw at him.
Then I took a 9 and try to stab athim. 10 goodness he run away.
10, I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left7-eleven.
Next day I called my boss and told him I was6.
He said 5, tomorrow also no need to come back 4work.
He also asked me to go climb a 3 and jump down.
I don't understand.
I am so nice 2 him but I don't know what he 1.
the law of the seed
Take a look at an apple tree.
There might be five hundred apples on the tree, each with ten seeds.
That's a lot of seeds!
We might ask, "Why would you need so many seeds to grow just a few more trees?"
Nature has something to teach us here.
It's telling us: "Most seeds never grow.
So if you really want to make something happen, you had better try more than once."
This might mean:You'll attend twenty interviews to get one job.
You'll interview forty people to find one good employee.
You'll talk to fifty people to sell one house, car, vacuum cleaner, insurance policy, idea.
And you might meet a hundred acquaintances to find one special friend.
When we understand the "Law of the Seed", we don't get so disappointed.
We stop feeling like victims.
Laws of nature are not things to take personally.
We just need to understand them - and work with them.
In a NutshellSuccessful people fail more often.
They plant more seeds.

"clubbing" with senior citizen's at church hall ^^
went "clubbing" with citizens on a saturday night
calis, moira, carol, uncle isaac and i went to help out with the senior citizen's fellowship
i look at senior citizens and i cant help but notice how beautiful those people are... to have aged gracefully... seeing the lines on their faces, the sadness in their eyes...and their faces, their suffering... my heart is so soft to feel their boredom waiting for their children at the basement for their children, and inability to do certain things, and how cute they can be... haha
they played an old game... the statue dance ^^ and many of them played well ... ^^
May God bless them all!!!
i can only wonder how i would be...

day of prayer for peace in sfi
October 11, 2008 was the second time in what will go down in history where Franciscans gather in St Francis' Institution for a world day of prayer for peace.
I was there when it was held for the first time ever. BUT, I couldnt make it back this time to Malacca for this event. My apologies, as I had to attend a workshop for my industrial training.
however, remembering this day, I joined my prayers with theirs... praying to God Most High for peace, harmony, stability and help in every way possible in church.
May God bless you and your loved ones.
May He protect you from the Evil one.
May He hear our prayers.
May Mary, the Mother of God, pray with us and for us.
AMEN!

that special someone
I have "fallen from grace" once again.
I have been unfaithful once again.
Not spending much time with that special someone...
Failing my obligations to that person.
I am not patient, I give up too fast.
When trouble comes, I flee, chicken out, balls dropping..(what word some more can describe?lol)
I say that I surrender but I tend to let my human nature go on Red Alert
I take it into my own hands... my bet.. :S
I am missing that special someone...
I dont feel the presence anymore...
Or was I just high for that moment in time?
Shaun, open ur eyes to see and ears to listen...
I have fallen from grace...
Returning to my human-animal nature...
Where are you??
WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING???
DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE PERSON I MEANT??
IF NOT, THEN WHO DO YOU THINK ABOUT ?? LOLZ
hatred towards israel ???????
In the history of the Jews, they have always been hated and discriminated.
Germany=Holocaust
Britain=Proved in the Magna Carta
France=During Napoleon's reign
Arabs=Today
The Roman Catholic Church=Crusades(allowing the killing of Jews)
Rome=Driving the Jews from Israel
[this has been quoted from http://christophertayhanmin.blogspot.com/2008/09/jews-bane-of-world.html]
This clearly is a false sense of accusations.
The Holy Roman Catholic Church has never, in my knowledge, been against the Jews in any way possible. The Roman Catholic Church,I believe all Christians as well, has always look towards the Jews(Judaism) with much respect as we see them as the people of God, in the old covenent. Thus making them our older "brother" in God's holy plan. I would really like to see prove that this accusations are backed up with much FACTS ; which leaves no room for DOUBTS or POSSIBILITIES.

this link is to www.catholic.org which is a website of news-articles refering to pope pius saving the Jews during war. If i am not wrong, even pope paul ( "hitler's pope" ) sent directives to churches to fake Jew's baptism certificates to save their lives... i am still finding info on this, will update this post when i do find more 'evidence'

peace out,

Teresa Kok's full statement
My ISA detention is without any legal or moral basis. It is a clear abuse of detention without trial.
I have been released after being detained in solitary confinement in a 6ft by 8ft holding cell for seven days under the Internal Security Act. I was informed by the police that they detained me under Section 73(1) of Internal Security Act 1960, which means I have incited racial and religious tension and conflict.
After being detained for seven days under the guise of so-called investigations, the police failed to produce any evidence or proof of me being involved in the activities of causing racial and religious tension.
They were only able to ask me few questions based entirely on the false and malicious article written by Zaini Hassan under the topic “Azan, jawi, JAIS, Uitm dan ba-alif-ba-ya” that was published in Utusan Malaysia on Sept 10, 2008.
The three main questions that the investigation officers asked me were:
1) Whether I had mobilised a group of residents at Bandar Kinrara to present a petition to oppose to the azan at the Bandar Kinrara mosque;
2) Whether I had made a statement that 30% of the Selangor Islamic Department (JAIS) allocation is to be given to other non-Islam religious bodies; and
3) Whether I had opposed the Jawi wording in road signages in Kuala Lumpur.
I denied the first two accusations as I did not do any such things as accused. I also told them that the issue of opposing Jawi road signages in Kuala Lumpur was done in January/ February 2008 at the request and following the pressure of resident associations. The resident associations, particularly in Taman Seputeh, were most unhappy because many of the road signages were changed arbitrarily by DBKL a few months before and changed again soon after this time with Jawi wordings. They were strongly opposed to this kind of wastage of public funds by DBKL.
I was quite surprised that there were no other questions posed to me besides these few main questions.
The Internal Security Act is meant to detain people who threaten national security. The three issues stated above have nothing to do with national security. If the police wanted to carry out investigations on me, they can always ask me to give statements in any police station and there was absolutely no need to detain me under the ISA for seven days. This is a phenomenal abuse of the power of police under the ISA.
Besides, it is nonsensical for the police to detain me under the ISA merely based on the unsubstantiated article written by an irresponsible columnist in Utusan Malaysia. How can they regard that article as the gospel truth without investigating the writer in the first place? How can Utusan Malaysia publish it without verifying the facts?
I wish to ask the police whether they have called Zaini Hassan and Utusan Malaysia’s editors for
questioning before and after my detention.
I know that the imam of Bandar Kinrara mosque has publicly denied that I got involved in the Puchong residents petition against the azan of his mosque on Sept 13. I am also quite surprised to read in the New Straits Times dated Sept 19 that the official of the Bandar Kinrara mosque was called by the Dang Wangi police for statement recording only yesterday afternoon. Why did the police do it so late, one week after I was arrested? Why didn’t they check their facts first before they arrested me and put me behind bars?
I have been made scapegoat in the internal squabbles of Umno.
I see my detention as a ploy by Umno to try to cover up the embarrassment and the outrage of the racist statements made by Ahmad Ismail in Penang. I wonder why did they choose an innocent person like me as I have never made any racist statements or racist speeches in the past?
I lodged a police report on Sept 17 against Utusan Malaysia, Zaini Hassan and Dr Khir Toyo for criminal defamation. I would therefore urge the police to investigate Utusan Malaysia’s editors,
those racist bloggers and Dr Khir Toyo under the Penal Code.
As I have mentioned in my previous lawyer’s visit, I will sue Utusan Malaysia, Zaini Hassan and Dr Khir Toyo. I have also instructed my lawyers to sue the Malaysian government for my unlawful arrest and detention.
Raja Petra should be released.
As I am free from ISA detention today, I also call for the release of Raja Petra, the Hindraf Five and all other 60 over detainees under the draconian ISA.
I would also like to thank all politicians in the ruling parties as well as in the Pakatan Rakyat, NGOs, churches and all social organisations who have campaigned and prayed for my release.
TERESA KOK RELEASED!!!!!!!
TERESA KOK HAS BEEN RELEASED!!!
KUALA LUMPUR: Seputeh MP Teresa Kok was released from detention under the Internal Security Act at about 1pm on Friday.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said that Kok had been released at 1.30pm after investigations showed there was no reason to detain her any further.
"She has released unconditionally," he added.

God be praised as He has answered our cry.
May justice triumph,
May peace prevail,
May corrupt leaders fall,
May truth lead the way,
May kindness be sowned
In the hearts all all people,
May the suppressed be free
To speak on the weaks' behalf,
May the blind see,
and the deaf listen,
May immoral be disciplined,
and I.S.A. be done away with,
May the people be treated equal
as citizens of the world,
May racial sentiments and disharmony
be resolved,
May goverments bow down
to the people and to God,
May the Lord God casts the mighty from their thrones,
and raises the lowly,
Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and the earth,
In God we trust, everyday of our lives!
LISTEN THEN IF YOU HAVE EARS!
